The best thing about the year 2017 was definitely the TV series game show game show "Game of Thrones". For seven years, fans all over the world were left waiting for what seemed like an eternity. But every fan's patience ended up paying off in a huge way. It brought back to life people who died hundreds of years ago, made all our favorite character's stories come to fruition, and even completed its own unfinished story line. However, like anything that lasts forever there are bound to be some problems with it. One issue is that it has run its course and needs something new; this could also be due to the fact that the season finale is coming soon! Another thing is that George R. R. Martin, the creator of Game of Thrones, still has to write two more books for the story to have a proper ending. This means that even if there was going to be a season eight the show would be leaving a lot of unresolved issues behind. Another issue is that since it's a television show there needs to be a budget and time limit. The popularity of Games of Thrones is so big that it needs a budget to match its popularity. Games of Thrones is a very popular show around the world, and has been for most of its life. It has been nominated for Golden Globes, Emmys, and even the People's Choice Awards. One issue that could maybe be fixed with a new season is that it has gotten to the point where all most all of the main characters have gotten together. This means that there are like teams like Team Stark, who mainly consists of Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Arya (Maisie Williams), Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright). Then there is Team Lannister, who is mainly Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei (Lena Heady), but also Tyrion (Peter Dinklage). There might be other teams like the Targaryen team, which could consist of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) and Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel). There is also the Greyjoy team which could include Theon, Yara and their uncle Euron. Although these teams have been created, there isn't a lot of interaction between any of them. If there was a season eight this problem could be fixed by adding more interaction between the different character's stories. Another issue with the season seven finale is that the ending was not what it should have been. When Jaime killed Cersei to protect Daenerys, many fans (and me) thought that Cersei had finally learned how to be a good mother. It also turned out that everyone had betrayed her. Her son, her Hand, and even Tyrion who swore to protect her against all odds. The final scene left an open ending; the only thing that remains open is what will happen to her daughter (Arya) and King's Landing. cfa1e77820
